최덕성 교수 프로필

 

최덕성 박사는 브레드유니버시티(BREAD UNIVERSITY)의 총장이다. 브레드유니버시티는 유비쿼터스와 메타버스 그리고 인공지능을 적극 활용하는 방식으로 시간, 장소, 국경, 언어를 초월하여 교육을 제공하는 대학교이다.  최덕성은 현재 오프라인으로 교육을 제공하는 브니엘신학교의 총장과 교의학 교수(2013-현재)로도 봉사하고 있다. 최덕성은 고려신학대학원-고신대학교의 역사신학 교수(1989-2009)로 재직했다. 하버드대학교 객원교수(1997-1998)였다.

 

최덕성은 예일대학교(STM)와 에모리대학교(Ph.D.)를 졸업했다. 고신대학교, 하버드대학교, 노스캐롤라이나대학교, 리폼드신학교(M.Div., M.Ed.), 케임브리지대학교, 예루살렘대학교에서도 공부했다. 철학, 역사, 신학을 공부했다.  약 20권의 학술서를 한글과 영어로 저술 출간했고, 약 200편의 신학 학술 논문들을 한글과 영어로 발표했다.

 

최덕성은 온라인저널 리포르만다(REFORMANDA), 기독교사상연구원 리포르만다(REFORMANDA), 비영리선교교육단체 유유미션(University Ubiquistous Mission, UUM)의 대표이다.
 

 

The Reverend Doctor Doug Choi is the founder and  president of BREAD UNIVERSITY, REFRMANDA-Institute of Christian Thought and REFORMANDA-online journal of theology. Choi is presently in duty of president and professor at Peniel Theological Seminary, since 2013. Choi is the professor of Christian Dogmatics and Historical Theology.

 

Choi has studied in philosophy, history and theology. He is a theologian majored in History of Christian Thought, Dogmatics, and Historical Theology. He has served as professor of Historical Theology at Korea Theological Seminary of Kosin University(1989-2009), visiting professor at Harvard University(1997-1998).

 

Choi is a graduate of Yale University(STM), Emory University(Ph.D.), Kosin University, Reformed Theological Seminary(M.Div., M.Ed.). He also studied at Harvard University(USA), University of North Carolina(USA), Cambridge University(UK), Jerusalem University(Israel). Choi wrote about 20 academic  books and about 200 creative professional academic articles in Korean and English.
